Isolation

I think it would be extremely terrible to be isolated. Life would be so lonely and harsh. The only thing that a person has is their sanity, which sometimes is also gone. You're pretty much just alone with your thoughts. This can sometimes be the most dangerous thing; having too much time to think about life. Without having a companion or seeing others, social skills are disregarded and not developed at all. This major issue causes many stresses later down the road.
On the other hand, being isolated without the social media and its effects is not necessarily a bad thing. The world that we live in today judges anyone and everything. Most humans, especially in countries such as the United States, Europe, or China focus mainly on material possessions. The good thing about being isolated is that thoughts are more open because you don't have to cloud your mind up with useless things involving others.
I am a very social person, and I always feel the need to talk to someone. If I did not have anyone to talk to, I think I would go crazy. If I was born in an isolated situation I think I could do it, but not if I was first raised in social areas then suddenly isolated. I would have to write in a journal or something to keep my mind off of being lonely or depressed. It would also be terribly scary. There is always the thought that someone will come and murder or kidnap you. I don't know what is worse; the society that we live in, or being alone with just your thoughts.
